Chances are you have never heard of us. Not surprising as we are barely a year old, in fact we don’t even know that as it just kind of happened!

 

Let me introduce myself. Mark... aka Mustard to some people. I own, run and maintain Mustard Bikes.

Mustard Bikes started off as a hobby, something I did for fun (and still do) making parts for my various motorcycles I’ve had over the last few years. As friends and friends of friends saw my work I started

getting request’s for parts and as one road often leads to a better one here I now stand, starting a fledgling parts business in my spare time with dreams to take it to the big time. Mustard Bikes is to become a respected name in the motorcycle accessories industry if I have anything to do with it.

I design all the products myself and I only let past those products that I would be satisfied buying and using myself. Inspired by the engineering of Moto GP and Superbikes and kept in check with the reality of day to day riding, products are designed to be sleek, light, durable and performance oriented. I try and maintain the highest quality for competitive prices, and nearly all my supplies and any outsourced work is sourced right here in Tasmania, not some sweatshop in China or Taiwan.

Bikes are my obsession (don’t believe me then ask my partner!). I ride daily to work and back, on the weekend, in rain, hail or shine on my Japanese steed (a cosmetically tatty but healthy ex-track 2005 zx-10r). Weekends are filled with mountain blasts or track days at Symmons plains and Baskerville raceway, evenings in my workshop or behind the computer designing, making and testing parts or maintaining the Ten.
